Brilliant and timely. We just started talking about a screen ban in our house between 4-6 pm. This makes it easy to take it fun to take it through the dinner hour.

I don't think QR codes are being used particularly well, but I also think a lot of people are still clueless about them. That said, I don't think they are "intrusive" either. I mean, why would you want something promotional to be "more discrete?" I guess I'm intrigued by the idea, but the question becomes, how do you know that something is scan-able, and how do you avoid accidentally scanning things you don't want to scan?

In a Word? BRILLIANT.

I need a version of this called: Family Morning Hour, get more done without the gadgets!

My oldest walks around like a zombie with earbuds in her ears getting ready for school, I recently caught her 'checking' her facebook as well BEFORE school!

I want a NO Screens policy in the AM hour too!
Dinner time hasn't gotten too over 'wired' at my house yet, but only one kid 'owns' a phone... give me a couple years... OY!

Hey Matthew,

Of course! Our Matthew really loved the game, he was telling us all about the words he had learned and how it was a really fun way to dive into a new language.

We'll definitely let you know if any Mandarin Madness players have feedback. Hope everything's going super well at Native Tongue.

Thanks for including Mandarin Madness Sarah. Its gets mad in the later levels when the words drop down faster, the music speeds up and your stress levels increase! Great to see you were able to learn some words in the 15 minutes you were playing with it.

If any of our users have feedback or suggestions, please contact us at hello@nativetongue.com and our product & development team will give it serious consideration and incorporate it where possible.

Regards,

Let me tell you, I LOVE that "computer program" for taxes.
After moving to the UK (but still having to pay US taxes - as well, since the US still wants their cut) we had to bring in some big hooha tax guys.
Who don't know what the heck they are doing. I think we've FINALLY refiled the final 2010 taxes. Rock on.
I wonder if I can deduct my UK volunteer miles from my US return????
