A Belated New Year’s Gift from Famigo

By Sarah On January 27, 2012 · Leave a Comment · In Announcements

January may be almost over, but don’t underestimate Funnosaurus Rex.

He’s already got stuff underway for the new year.

Funnosaurus Rex has just realized his resolution to make lives for Famigo families a bajillion times more fun (give or take a few thrillions).

There’s a new feature in Famigo Sandbox, and no secrets this time, Funnosaurus really wants you to know how to unlock this cool new stuff. So, here’s a breakdown:

Funnosaurus Rex’s Gift

Famigo SandboxYou now have the ability to customize the look of your Sandbox.

You can change the background to any of our super cool images and colors, OR you can choose to access your own pictures off of your phone.

This feature is accessed through the kid mode of Sandbox. Tap the big gear in the top right-hand corner of the screen and you’ll see where you can change background preferences.

It’s locked right now, but no worries! You’ll be able to customize your Sandbox in no time.

How to Obtain Your Awesome New (Completely Free) Gift

Famigo SandboxIn order to unlock this new feature, you have to download 3 new apps from the “New Apps” button within parent mode. (Don’t worry! They can be free! Funnosaurus is no scam artist; that wouldn’t be much fun at all.)

The “New Apps” button is located on the bottom right-hand side of the screen within parent mode.

There are a ton of great recommended apps here, and they’re all customized specifically to your family. You can browse through, read reviews and easily download new apps straight to your phone.

Once these 3 apps have downloaded and are visible within parent mode, re-enter kid mode and you’ll find that the Sandbox is now customizable!

It Only Gets Better from Here

Famigo SandboxYour kids can change the background to any of our crazy amount of colors and images, and you can also choose to allow them to select pictures off of your phone.

If you’re comfortable with letting your kids use your photos, you’ll need to grant them access within the parent mode settings.

Within parent mode, tap on the wrench in the upper right-hand side of the screen to access the settings. Here, select “Allow Picture Access” in order to let your kids use your photos for their background image.

Yay, Fun!

The Famigo Family and Funnosaurus hope your family enjoys our latest project as much as we enjoyed building it. Here’s to fun, Famigo style!
